PUBLIC DEBATE: Should Religion have any Role in Politics?

PUBLIC DEBATE: Should Religion have any role Politics?

Asalam alaikum wr wb. My latest debate video is up! And this is a funny one I had in Dublin, Ireland (and University College Dublin).

“The panel discussion was light hearted, quite hilarious but very engaging, with the participants robustly debating on whether Secularism or religious informed laws and social values, are the best way to manage the modern world.

The debate featured Liberal Christians debating non-Liberal Christian views, a Bahai explaining the position of Bahaism, a Protestant debating a Catholic apologist on the Catholic Church, and a Muslim engaging the Atheist on the issue of Islamic Caliphates, Jihad and Secularism”.

On a side note, the Atheist speaker, Shane (representing the Atheist and Secular Society, who studies philosophy) specifically researched my work and material in order to come to this debate to debunk me and refute my arguments. I was very flattered and welcoming of his effort. Watch the debate and see how well he did! 🙂

A entertaining must-watch!
