One thing people have forgotten is, following the break up of the Ottoman Khilafah by British and French forces; Tunisia, Libya, Egypt, Yemen and Jordan, and even Pakistan all started out as democracies. As the Ancient Greeks and Romans discovered, democracies, sooner or later, end up in Dictatorship.
So why do we constantly have faith in Democracy to save us from government tyranny and corruption?
