Does the West now want to Scrap Human Rights?

The West believes in Human Rights as it’s moral capital (now there may be disagreement as to what Human Rights are, but for the sake of argument, we can all agree that the West considers it’s concept of Human Rights as it’s Moral foundation).

Now when you do not believe in God (or believes he has anything to do with mans affairs – i.e. Secularism), then Morals become expedient. And when Morals become expedient, then implementing them become a matter of convenience. And if Morals are a matter of convenience, then they can be abolished when no longer convenient.

The British Home Secretary has now said: “Scrap the Human Rights Act”

Secularism has proven once again, that what it believes is the immaterial in life, is immaterial to life.
